Physical trainer gets you the look

Marlon Michael is a personal trainer / bodybuilder who likes nothing more than to help people transform their physique and ultimately achieve the body of their dreams.

Born and raised in Ladysmith, Marlon moved to Durban 10 years ago and that was where his love for bodybuilding and personal training began. The muscular personal trainer began working out at Virgin Active, Durban, where he claims he got all the experience he has acquired.

“When I initially started training, my goal was not to lose weight, but actually to gain it,” smiles Marlon. Now back in Ladysmith, the enthusiastic personal instructor has his own gym called ‘Ultimate Fitness Club’, where he trains people and also advises those who seek personal training for faster and efficient results.

Marlon’s inspiration for bodybuilding comes from the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) superstar Goldberg. He even has a poster of Goldberg stuck on his office wall.

“My greatest pleasure in the gym is when a client walks out with overwhelming satisfaction about the transformation of their body when they reach their ultimate goal,” explains Marlon.

Ultimate Fitness Club has been operational for almost five years now, and keeps growing as more and more people join in search of physical perfection.

“Training is good for people, as it promotes a healthy lifestyle. It is also good for the mind, as you get to release stress. For anybody who wishes to start training, I would like to urge them to do so entirely with a passion and enthusiasm to work hard.”

He concludes that training is not fun and games; it gets really hard, so people should be aware of the work that needs to be put in.
