Help needed to fix hail damage to roof
"It is very sad that unexpected things like this happen to those who can't really help themselves,"

A part of the roof of an elderly couple’s home was destroyed during a hail storm in Signal Hill on November 10.
The roof is made of polycarbonate and covers the patio area, which is an extension to the living room of the home.
Owner of the house, Chris Liebenberg tried to patch the roof, but recent heavy rainfalls negated his efforts. “Water is still leaking into this area.
“I tried to patch up the holes but it isn’t good enough,” he said
A friend of Mr and Mrs Liebenberg, who would like to remain anonymous, wants to assist the couple in fixing the roof, as they do not have insurance that covers hail damage.
The roof is very old and has become brittle and the best option would be to replace it.
“I am willing to do the labour free of charge, however, they cannot afford the materials needed. It is very sad that unexpected things like this happen to those who can’t really help themselves,” said the friend.
Anyone willing to help the couple, can contact Mr Liebenberg on 084 516 1119.
