Taking in the new Nissan Navara

Described as the ultimate vehicle for any ‘Suit in an Ute’, the sleek, stylish new design takes one step closer to bridging the gap between a stylish SUV and a sturdy pick-up.

SOME climbed into it, some peered under the hood and others even slid underneath, doing whatever it took to get a really close look at the brand new Nissan Navara, which was introduced to the Vryheid community at McManus Nissan Vryheid on Wednesday afternoon.

Described as the ultimate vehicle for any ‘Suit in an Ute’, the sleek, stylish new design takes one step closer to bridging the gap between a stylish SUV and a sturdy pick-up.

As one of the best all round utility vehicles ever to hit South African shores, the Nissan Navara offers eye catching style, heavy duty 5-link coil rear suspension which gives it superior off and on road performance, high level of luxury features and best in its class fuel economy. All of which are perfectly blended with exemplary levels of safety to create a truly South African vehicle that defines what a ‘can do, go anywhere’ driving attitude really is.

The Navara is powered by the latest generation of Nissan engines and is designed to give you the right amount of power when and where you need it most. In fact, this marvel of automotive engineering has been described by some motoring journalists as ‘an engine powerhouse that gives the driver a pure driving performance’. But power is not all that this amazing new engine offers, because, thanks to extremely low engine Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) levels, the new Navara is the quietest pickup ever built by Nissan. What this means is that driving pleasure and ruggedness have been redefined to create some of the best Nissan Navara Engine Specs ever seen.

In a pickup of this quality, high feature levels are a given, with navigation, cruise control, LED lights, reverse camera and a zero-gravity research spinal support seat for the driver forming just a small part of the Navara’s SUV-like comfort levels.

McManus Nissan Vryheid’s dealer principal, Gordon McManus, said he was excited about the great attendance at the launch and the excellent feedback he received from residents who arrived to have a look at the vehicle.

“The Navara boasts stylish lines, and excellent quality, and the fuel consumption is also a factor that impressed everybody. Client also enjoyed having a look at the virtual reality video of the Nissan Navara,” said Mr McManus.

The new Nissan Navara will officially be available for sale off South African showroom floors in mid-March.
