Newcastle – The two men accused of stabbing a security guard to death on January 28, are set to appear in court soon.
According to SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Lizzy Arumugam, the 29-year-old security officer was on his way home at about 7.30pm, when he was accosted by the two men, who robbed and stabbed him.
The victim was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The suspects were later arrested, and are on remand.
Mrs Arumugam said the two men have not appeared in court yet due to ongoing investigations, but are expected to receive a court date soon.
