Tugela teachers celebrate Valentine’s Day with bake-off
After tasting seventeen amazing desserts, three winners were announced according to different categories, namely: "Best of the Best", "Out of the Box" and "Soos my Ouma".
To celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the educators of Tugela High School participated in a Bake-off competition where all kinds of delicious desserts were entered.
After tasting seventeen amazing desserts, three winners were announced according to different categories, namely: “Best of the Best”, “Out of the Box” and “Soos my Ouma”.
The winners in each category were Hester van der Merwe (Soos my Ouma), Acting Principal Riaan du Plessis (Out of the Box) and Overall Winners “Best of the Best” was a joint effort by Bernadette Gibbs and Ilze van Zyl.
Just to make the day more interesting, staff were asked to wear interesting shoes to brighten the day.
