NCANDU – About 800 dagga plants were discovered and destroyed on a vacant land, near Amcor Dam, while the Newcastle Crime Prevention D group were doing patrols, on Saturday, February 18.
According to SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Lizzy Arumugam, police received a tip-off about the dagga plantation.
Anyone who can shed light on the planters, is requested to call the police on 034 314 6237 or 034 314 6158.
