DANNHAUSER – Police arrested a 34-year-old man, for the rape of his 16-year-old sister at Jesse Farm outside Dannhauser.
According to Sergeant M. Nyembe of Dannhauser SAPS Corporate Communications, it was alleged the victim was asleep at her place of residence on February 18 at about 5.30am, when the suspect knocked on the door demanding beer.
“The victim refused to open the door, and the suspect then used another door to gain entry to the home, and proceeded to rape her,” he said.
The suspect was arrested shortly afterwards, and the case is currently under investigation by the Newcastle Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
