The body of the 11-year-old boy who was swept away by the Klip River in Steadville was found by K9 Search & Rescue this morning (March 1). The body was found in the Manzinabilayo area of Ezakheni by the rescue team.
Since Saturday, Ladysmith K9 Search & Rescue and other emergency personnel have been searching the Klip River between Steadville and Ezakheni after the boy was reported to have been swept away by strong currents.

On Monday, rough water and treacherous conditions prompted police to put the search on hold until the next day.
