Not even churches are immune to the crime wave

Police are urging residents to report criminal activity and anyone selling suspected stolen items to them.

The St John’s Apostolic Faith Mission Church in Dundee is humbly requesting the assistance of Courier readers in finding church property stolen in a break-in at around 7pm on Friday, March 10, while a service was in progress.
Items that were stolen included a 52-inch plasma screen Sky TV, Samsung DVD player and DSTV decoder as well as cell phones and money and congregants identity documents.
Police are urging residents to report criminal activity and anyone selling suspected stolen items to them.
Anyone found in possession of stolen property will face the consequences of their actions. The police can be contacted on 034 299 9700 or 034 299 9786.
