Police hunt Induna Mqedeni’s murder suspects
Induna (Chief) Mqedeni Gama was shot by about three gunmen while traveling along Injesuthu Road
On Monday around 3pm 60-year-old Induna (Chief) Mqedeni Gama was shot by three gunmen while traveling along Injisuthi Road, Loskop.
There were three other occupants in the vehicle that the Induna was driving.
“The men opened fire on the vehicle, injuring one person and killing the 60-year old-driver,” said police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig.
The motive behind the shooting is unclear at this point.
Amangwe Police is currently investigating a case of murder and are on a hunt for the suspects.
