Residents of Aloe Park and surrounding areas are again without water this morning (April 13).
People are incredibly fed up, complaining to the Ladysmith Gazette that they have basically been without water since Saturday morning, with water returning for a few hours and then stopping again. They say the situation is infuriating and unacceptable.

According to uThukela, high levels of silt from the Tugela River is affecting water quality and quantity in terms of the treatment process.
uThukela say they are addressing the problem, but that some areas such as Ezakheni and parts of Acaciavale will be negatively affected in the mean time.
They apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Residents with dry taps are encouraged to take containers to the mosque in Poona Road to fill up with water.
