Motorists fear that these potholes will damage their vehicles, as they are very deep and difficult to dodge because they take up the whole street.

“On numerous occasions, motorists have damaged their vehicles because of the potholes. When it’s nighttime, it is very hard to see the potholes, as they are covered with water and people generally drive into them, resulting in the potholes damaging their vehicles,” said a concerned motorist.

Even after numerous complaints to the municipality and stories being published about the potholes, residents feel the municipality has turned a blind eye and they are slowly losing all hope that the road surface will ever be fixed.
