Residents of Saffa Street, Kandahar Avenue and Kwaja Street are without water, and the matter is being dealt with

Although the major burst to one of the main lines was discovered on Thursday evening (April 13) and has since been fixed by uThukela workers, some residents are still without water.

According Mr Glen Singh from uThukela, the burst pipe was fixed and their engineers are out trying to figure out why some residents are still without water.

He stated that residents of Saffa Street, Kandahar Avenue and Kwaja Street are without water, and the matter is being dealt with.

The reason why most residents have been suffering with dry taps is because of the burst pipe that was discovered behind AK’s OK Grocer. But that has since been fixed.

The municipality asks residents to bear with them as they try to find the solution to the problem. They apologise for any inconvenience caused.
