Limit Hill residents are furious with uThukela District Municipality regarding a burst pipe in Third Avenue.
The reason is that municipal workers were seen digging a hole in an attempt to fix the leak, but they just left the hole wide open and residents fear the pipe has not been fixed.

“Yes, municipal workers were seen at the burst pipe, and for a second I was happy knowing it was getting fixed and would end the issue of the water destroying the walls around my property,” said a concerned resident.
According to residents, the pipe has been leaking for over 10 years and uThukela has failed to fix it in all that time.
Residents are now urging the municipality to come and finish what they started, and put an end to the problem.
