Potholes anger business owners in Circle Road, Ladysmith

Business owners in Circle Road are fed up with the potholes that have taken over, saying that the condition of the road is terrible and negatively affects business.

“We have laid complaints with the municipality about the dangers and how these potholes are affecting our businesses,” said a concerned business owner.

She also stated that they have sent e-mails to the municipality, but all they say is they never received them.

The most affected business in the road is Furniture & Doors, as the potholes are right in front of their driveway, making it difficult for customers to drive in.

Motorists are known to drive on the pavement to get around the potholes.

The business owners are now pleading with the municipality to fix the damaged road to avoid further problems.
