Sad news for Ladysmith Bollywood fans is that veteran actress Reema Lagoo passed away in Mumbai recently. The 59-year-old actress reportedly died after suffering cardiac arrest.
She is remembered for her roles in films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Saath-Saath Hain.
Lagoo rose to prominence after successfully playing the role of a mother in several Bollywood films. She started her career in the late 70s and early 80s with Hindi and Marathi films.
Notable works include television appearances as well.
She is known for her popular TV show with Supriya Pilgaonkar Tu Tu Main Main and also featured in Shriman Shrimati.
