Residents are asking why the municipality did not attend to the leak promptly, as it inconveniences people going to work and children going to school.

“This is so frustrating, as we are faced with cold days and very cold mornings, so not having running water is quite a big deal. It’s so inconvenient not to have warm water flowing in the morning,” said a concerned parent.

Residents feel that the municipality is not doing enough in terms of ensuring that all pipes, especially the old ones, are repaired timeously so as to avoid these kinds of situations. They urge the municipality to fix the burst pipe as quickly as possible.
