Business owners and motorists are furious about leaking water from a burst pipe in Thompson Road.
The water fills up potholes at the corner of the road, making it difficult for motorists turning into the street. They fear that their vehicles will get damaged.
“The water has been leaking there since I can remember. A story was done about this issue in the Ladysmith Gazette, but nothing has ever been done,” said a business owner who did not want to be named.

Business owners feel that their businesses are negatively affected, and motorists fear that their vehicles will suffer because you can’t see the potholes filled with water at night.
They plead with the municipality to fix the leak as soon as possible.
