A group of enthusiastic grades 6 and 7 learners, together with four staff members, enjoyed a week-long tour to T.O. Strand, near Port Edward.
The group had loads of fun zip-lining, snorkelling, canoeing, taking a boat trip and the Olympics on the beach to name a few. We say thank you to our Heavenly Father for his protection during the tour!
Comments from our learners:
Zisanda: I think zip-lining was the funniest and during the treasure hunts we learned about teamwork. It was the funniest tour ever!
Joyce: Thank you, Lord, for protecting me and my friends.
Owethu: An exciting place! The animals were getting scared that we would catch them when we were snorkelling.
Zandisiwe: Going on tour was such fun and the teachers made it very enjoyable.
If you weren’t on this tour, you really missed out!
Amahle: T.O. Strand is an adventurous place. I love T.O Strand!
Andiswa: T.O. Strand is an interesting place to visit and explore to see God’s creation and things that he gave us to enjoy.
Luthando: We made vetkoek. We also went to the beach and went zip-lining and swam in the sea.
Thank you for letting me go on tour.
I had so much fun with my friends and the teachers too.

(When I look at the sea that is all I can see).
Mikayla: Zip-lining was my favourite. We did many things that taught us teamwork and cooperation.
Siphume: We went to the sea and played Olympics and every morning we would pick a spot to sit and be alone with God and look at the pretty things he created for us to protect.
When we did wall climbing, Andiswa and I were the quickest. We did zip-lining and the teachers also did some of the activities.
Zenande: T.O. Strand is an enjoyable place. There is always an adventure and discoveries. T.O. Strand is a place where they show you your true self. T.O. Strand is the best!

That’s the amount of fun we had!
Hayden: The best place to go to have fun and to build a raft!
Nsikelelo: We did several activities which were exciting and scary at the same time. Indeed an interesting tour.
