Overgrown grass in White Road leaves residents angry

Concerned community members say that snakes, rats and mosquitoes come into their yards as a result of the overgrowth

Overgrown grass and dense bush in White Road has left residents fuming.

Residents say there’s overgrown grass and dense bush right opposite their homes and that it poses a risk to them, as criminals can hide there very easily.

Cllr Abbas Warasally has visited the area and will be taking the matter further in order to get the problem sorted out.

Concerned community members say that snakes, rats and mosquitoes come into their yards as a result of the overgrowth.

They want the area to be cleared so they can live safely, without the threat of criminals or snakes.

Cllr Warasally commented that this is not the way for people to live.
