Nelson Mabaso and Janine Raciti from the Estcourt Animal Shelter with Jennifer Bain, Lwandisiwe Buthelezi, Nomfundo Sithole, Lwandle Duma and Luthando Shabalala.

The Foundation Phase learners participated in an interactive talk with Nelson Mabaso from the Estcourt Animal Shelter on how to care for their pets.

While covering topics like feeding and illness, he had many children eager to answer questions and share their animal experiences.

The aim of the visit is to educate the Drakensview Primary School learners, who in turn will go home and share their information with their families.

This will lead to more informed and caring pet owners in our community. Most families have pets. Let us care for them.
