Two vacant houses in Allen Street have been allowed to fall into a state of disrepair.
The condition of the houses, which belong to the police department, were initially brought to light in February and March.
Yet months later, the houses have been allowed to deteriorate further.
At the time of the previous articles, Communication Liaison and Marketing spokesperson, Lizzy Arumugam, admitted the houses had been vandalised and said both houses were handed to the Department of Public Works for renovation purposes in terms of Government policy.
However, overgrown grass and weeds claim the yards as their own, while the interior of the houses show activity of extreme vandalism and the presence of vagrants.
Light fixtures have been stolen, one of the kitchens has been virtually destroyed as vandals wreaked havoc by stealing valuable metals and wiring; ceiling boards left hanging and broken.
The toilet of one of the houses was used as a fireplace.
With no form of renovations in sight, it is unclear when the houses will be seen to.
The police department has been contacted, but no comment was received at the time of publication.
