Ladysmith municipality catches municipal employee dumping

The front-end loader was apparently taken away from work being done in Centenary Road

A Parks & Gardens employee was caught red-handed dumping earlier today (June 15).

This after a front-end loader was seen this morning in Viola Road, dumping building material.

An official from the Roads Department found that the rubble was coming from a house in the area and that the person residing at the house is in fact employed by the municipality.

The front-end loader was apparently taken away from work that is currently being done in Centenary Road.

The worker on the front-end loader was instructed to remove the rubble from where he was going to dump it.
