Burst pipe a concern to Carbineer Road residents

The burst water pipe has raised concerns as gallons and gallons of clean water is running down unattended.

Residents of Carbineer Road are furious about the water running down the road as a result of a burst pipe.

Gallons and gallons of clean drinking water is going down the drain.

Residents fear that with so much water being wasted, it will affect their households as it might leave them without running taps.

“uThukela cannot afford to have major burst water pipes like this, as it increases the chance of people running out of water,” said one concerned resident.

Residents urge the municipality to fix the pipe as soon as possible.
