On Thursday (June 22), Ntabamhlophe police held a multi-disciplinary and intelligence-driven crime prevention operation together with Ezemvelo Wildlife officials.
During the operation, stop-and-searches were conducted which resulted in the arrest of eight suspects.
Two people, aged 17 and 32, were found in possession of five grams and nine grams of dagga, respectively.

Six others, aged between 20 and 72 years old, were arrested for traffic-related offences.
These multi-disciplinary operations are part of a policing partnership where other departments are drawn in to help combat crime in the Ntabamhlophe area.
