On Thursday ( July 13) a house in Leicester Street was broken into, where the unknown thieves stole a motorbike.
To gain access, the thieves pulled out the railway gate of a remote controlled gate where they stole the motorbike.
” I’m a pleading with the community to please help us if they know the whereabouts of our motorbike. The bike is a orange and black Honda CBR 125R model. We have also opened a case with the police and investigations are still underway,” said Marize Du Toit.

Marize also stressed about the high rate of criminal activities happening all the time, as she stated the community of Ladysmith should come together with police to reduce the high rate of crime.
” After they got through the main gate, the thieves also managed to break into a carport where the bike was kept,” added a furious Marize.
