Dumpsite residents break into old entrances

The residents have broken open the old entrances saying that the gates built by Deezlo are too far.

DUMPSITE residents have reopened old entrances into the site following their dissatisfaction at having to walk a distance to use the main entrances made by the contractors.

The residents have reopened the entrance saying that the gates built by Deezlo are too far.

This especially makes things difficult for these residents as they operate on a first-come-first-serve system when seeking out food and recyclable goods from the rubbish that is dumped by municipal trucks at the site daily.

Members of the dumpsite community have raised concerns before regarding the entrances.

It is however not the contractors issue as the entrances were rebuilt exactly where the municipality requested.

Although they have broken into the old entrances, the fencing remains untouched.
