“Oh dear, Shakespeare Play” – DHS showcases talent like never before

The learners enjoyed themselves on stage as well as in the audience.

DHS produced a successful week of theatre where pupils from all grades played various roles from a combination of Shakespearian plays in a parody written by our local science teacher, Mr Visser.  The learners enjoyed themselves on stage as well as in the audience.  Many were able to identify with characters from the mystical ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’, the classic ‘Romeo and Juliet’ as well as the tragedy of ‘Macbeth’, to mention only a few.

We would like to thank all the educators, parents as well as dedicated learners who made this year’s play a memorable and successful one.  A special vote of thanks must go out to Mr and Mrs Visser who dedicated many hours of patience, hard work and passion into this production.
