Pro Nobis hostel children ‘sleep easy’

Last year, Pro Nobis was privileged to receive donations from the sponsors.

There were celebrations when upgrades to the Pro Nobis School were completed. The Department of Education completed the renovations for Pro Nobis, which the Learners with Special Education Needs School, LSEN, is very grateful.
However, upholding the image of the new hostel meant that the mattresses, which have had many years service and were badly worn, would have to be replaced.
With a lack of funds, this became a difficult task. Last year, Pro Nobis was privileged to receive donations from the sponsors listed below enabling the school to purchase 120 brand new mattresses, fully water-proof for the learners.
The school thanked Dreykon (Klus Civils) for their donation which we received in 2016. Abrie Pretorius, a member of the School Governing Body. hosted a Golf Day in September 2016 and raised funds.
“Hopewell Furnishers, knowing the circumstances pertaining to special needs learners and the type of mattress which we needed in our hostel, generously put in the balance of the money enabling us to purchase 120 brand new mattresses, one for each bed in the hostel. Without sponsors like these, this purchase would never have been possible,” the school said in a statement.
