PREVIEW: Electrical infrastructure sparks fury in oSizweni

A post on social media has sparked fury by residents of Newcastle, who were flabbergasted to see such workmanship in this day and age.

In the 21 century when technology has evolved and engineering at its peak, it seems unfathomable to find electrical infrastructure erected in the middle of a road.

Yet this was the case in oSizweni, near its community hall where an electrical pole has been built.

A post on social media has sparked fury by residents of Newcastle, who were flabbergasted to see such workmanship in this day and age.

In disbelief, some claimed it was laughable and the photo taken was altered in some way, while other irate residents called it ludicrous.

Upon closer inspection, it was determined that the pole had been installed in the middle of the road and the road was shockingly opened to traffic.

Concerned residents of oSizweni reported that they had seen cars driving on that road and cringed away as a few almost drove into the pole.
