Dagga worth about R200 000 was recovered by Ntabamhlophe police on Tuesday.

Three men aged between 38 and 45 were spotted driving at high speed in the EMahlutshini area during the early hours of the morning.

This caught the attention of the police officers and the vehicle was stopped and searched. Eight bags of dagga were found inside. The total weight of the dagga is 192kgs.

The trio was arrested and charged with possession of dagga. They made a brief appearance in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
