Water service disruptions in Hattingspruit area

"Technicians have been hard at work for the past 48 hours "

A major leak has caused water cuts in Hattingspruit and in the surrounding areas. The Amajuba District Municipality, under which the area falls, said in a statement that the reservoirs ‘are struggling to fill up because of the leak and that this has caused the outage’.

“Technicians have been hard at work for the past 48 hours and are working tirelessly to identify and fix the leak.

“Amajuba District Municipality’s Council will provide mobile tankers to assist the affected communities whilst our teams are busy fixing the problem. Amajuba District Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused, with your cooperation and understanding we hope to resolve the challenge immediately.

“For any other water-related queries communities are requested to continue using the Contact Centre reachable on 0860 262 582.”
