In less than a week, police have arrested five people suspected to be involved in the bizarre ‘flesh-eating’ saga.

The latest arrest came last night (Tuesday), a 32-year-old was arrested and appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court today.

Police were confident that the fifth suspect would be arrested soon.

The suspects are accused of murder and conspiracy to commit murder after the human remains of a female were found in their possession.

One of the suspects allegedly confessed to police on Friday that he ‘was tired of eating human flesh’.

The arrested suspects will appear in the Estcourt Magistrates Court on August 28.
