Despite all her efforts to have the municipality assist in resolving the issue of the “illegal commune” situated next to her, she said it seemed as if they were simply turning a deaf ear towards her cries for help.
“I was previously informed by officials this specific commune’s application to operate had not been approved, yet they just continue to do as they please.”
According to her, her family had been harassed on a daily basis by this commune.
“The other day when my daughter was walking down the driveway towards our gate, one of the communal tenants shouted at her to ‘voertsek’!”
