A mind blowing performance at DJS Spring festival

It was mind blowing experience when DJS held their spring culture evening on August 22. The choral verse and individual items done by the learners were of an exceptional high standard.
The school is proud of all our learners that participated and achieved excellent results. There were 9 A++, 49 A+’s and 19A’s. Individuele leerders wat `n A++ verwerf het: S Gregory en D Bierbaum en die volgende leerders het almal A+ verwerf:

Ons is trots op ons leerders wat deelgeneem het en opreg dankbaar vir elke onderwyser en ouer wat met soveel geduld en toewyding ons leerders aanmoedig het om sulke hoë hoogtes te bereik.
Athletics
On Thursday, August 24, Dundee Junior School’s athletes competed in the Tugela-Drakensberg Athletics (TDA) meeting at Bergville Primary School.
Daar was sowat ses skole wat deelgeneem en die kompetisie was taai.
Of the 34 DJS athletes that competed, they received 13 first places, nine second places and nine third places. Chezaan van Rensburg (u/13 Girls 800m) and Phiwonkuhle Ngobese (u/11 Girls 80m) broke the records in their events. DJS is extremely proud of them. DJS would like to thank the staff and parents for their help and support, as well as the athletes that took part and made DJS proud. Dundee Juniorskool is trots op julle en sien uit na die res van die atletiek seisoen wat voorlê.
Tennis:
DJS tennis skop af met sukses teen Huttenpark Laerskool toe hul op Woensdag, Augustus 23 met 9 wedstryde teen 7 wedstryde gewen. Baie geluk ons is trots op julle!
Soccer:
It was a fantastic weekend for DJS u/11 soccer boys as they went to Richards Bay to Ricarda Primary School to take part in the yearly tournament. The team played well, winning one, drawing another and lost one. The boys had fun and played their best. DJS is very proud of all the boys that went through.
