According to police, the case regarding 58-year-old Mr Charlie Maistry from Freesia Road, Acaciavale, is still under investigation. Mr Maistry was assaulted and stabbed in his tuck shop recently.
Two men entered the tuck shop at his home and assaulted him, stabbing him with a knife in the back as he tried to defend himself.
His 8-year-old grandson saw the whole ordeal and rushed to get help from the neighbours.
