The Wembezi Chess Academy will be hosting a chess tournament on Saturday, September 9.

The tournament will take place at the Wembezi Sports Complex at 9am. There are three divisions – under 15, under 18 and an open division.

The Wembezi Chess Academy hopes to eventually have a team of Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality players. Are you interested in learning the ropes of the game?

You are welcome to meet with the academy members every Friday at the Wembezi Library from 2pm to 4.30pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm.
