Two suspects were arrested last night (September 8) in Diamana Road after they held up a woman at gunpoint and robbed her.
After hearing about the robbery, furious Diamana Road residents started to search for the robbers and contacted the police.
Police, the K9 Unit, Public Safety, Caracal Security and NN Alarms were on scene.
Public Safety officers, security guards and police launched a manhunt and found the suspects hiding on vacant land. They were immediately arrested.
An angry mob gathered where the suspects were arrested and demanded that justice be served. The residents were heard threatening the alleged robbers with statements such as, “Don’t you dare ever come back to this area!”
