CAUGHT RED-HANDED: Resident arrested for possession selling dagga

Newcastle Crime Prevention A Group arrested a 49-year-old suspect for selling dagga at the Newcastle Municipal Flats.

According to police reports, the man was arrested on September 15 at about 8.30am.

Police searched the suspect’s home and found 71 parcels and 835 grams of dry loose dagga, with an estimated street value of R1 100.

The suspect will appear in the Newcastle Magistrate’s Court soon.
