A police officer was shot and wounded during an armed robbery in progress at Boxer in oSizweni (September 30).
According to sources, a shootout allegedly occurred between the suspect[s] and the police, leaving the officer wounded.
All emergency personnel, including additional police backup, are en route to assess the situation.
