A man, believed to be in his late 30s, sustained multiple stab wounds after an alleged argument broke out with two suspects.
The incident took place just after 11pm last night.
While waiting for ambulance services to arrive, the victim was seen struggling to breathe and bleeding from the mouth.
“The patient sustained multiple stab wounds, some of which are superficial and others that are serious,” said an unofficial source at the scene.
The victim was stabilised by paramedics and transported to Madadeni Provincial Hospital.
“He is currently in a stable condition and receiving medical care.”
While details surrounding the stabbing are unclear at this stage, police officials were on scene to conduct preliminary investigations.
