Yolandi Steenkamp, a biker from Vryheid was killed in a horrific crash on the Wasbank Road yesterday.
Yolandi and her fiancé, Bertus Meyer, were on a breakfast run to Bergville. Contrary to first reports, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Yolandi died instantly while Bertus broke his leg as well as suffering injuries to his hand and shoulder.
He is currently in the Newcastle Private Hospital.
