A stop and search operation held in the Ladysmith CBD by Visible Policing Officers on Friday (September 29) yielded good results.
The officers searched a 36-year-old who was carrying a kit bag. Concealed in the bag was 36kg of compressed dagga.
The street value of the drugs is estimated at over R10,000.

The suspect is due to make an appearance in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (October 2). He faces a charge of being in possession of dagga.
