PREVIEW: Fred van Dyk still dissatisfied with municipal response

Municipal response to the protest memorandum has not satisfied many residents, including local firebrand, Fred van Dyk.

Fred van Dyk remains dissatisfied with municipal response to ratepayers’ concerns.

He has since invited residents to a public meeting on October 11.

This meeting was convened to discuss future action by residents against municipal tariffs.

Last Tuesday, van Dyk met a core of residents to discuss feedback from muncipal leadership to August’s protest memorandum.

He believed proper reply was given only to demands for removal of the block tariff.
