Residents of the Acaciavale area, as well as other parts of Ladysmith, are furious because dirty water is coming out of their taps.
To add insult to injury, some people experienced low water pressure and other people had no water at all over the past weekend.
Many phone calls were made to uThukela regarding the water problem and according to residents, uThukela refused to answer their phones or give them any feedback.

“We are fed up! uThukela didn’t even send a water tanker to the affected areas. How can it take them a whole weekend to fix a problem? At least notify us if there is a problem so that we know what to do,” said one furious resident.
