Update: Water restored to affected areas in Ladysmith

The Al-Imdaad Foundation was out distributing water in the affected areas

Water supply has been restored to homes that suffered with dry taps during the course of last night (October 17).

uThukela District Municipality informed the community that due to urgent maintenance to be undertaken at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works (Clarifiers), the plant would be shut down yesterday morning in many areas of Ladysmith.
