A man was brutally gunned down this evening (October 24) in Steadville.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
It is alleged that two men entered the house on foot and shot the man dead before fleeing the scene.
At this stage, it is believed that the victim was a taxi owner.

Police and emergency personnel responded to the scene.
A large crowd of residents from the area gathered outside the home where the man was shot.
