Dundee Hospital promotes good health care

During the camp there were various speakers from departments who partnered with the Department of Health.

The Dundee Provincial Hospital is committed to promoting proper healthcare.
In September, the Pharmacy Department at the Hospital celebrated Pharmacy Month by spreading the message to the community that they need to vaccinate and know their medications. The emphasis of the theme this year was to sensitise the community across the board to take necessary vaccines accordingly. Residents were also advised on taking their medications with precautions and the importance of consultation.

The event was also graced by the presence of the Inzinyane Lesilo Prince Nhlanganiso Zulu who was the keynote speaker and he spoke about the history and the importance of being circumcise

Staff also took to the corridors of the hospital, chanting, singing, and raising awareness as they handed out posters to everyone they met from the Out Patients Department all the way down to the Gateway Clinic. They also visited PHC Facilities like EmpatheClinic and the taxi rank to spread the word.
The hospital also hosted a three-day Medical Male Circumcision camp at Livangeli Primary School. Approximately 250 boys attended the camp.
