Police received a complaint of a shooting in Steadville yesterday evening (October 24).
On arrival at the home in question, police found the body of a 59-year-old man who had been brutally gunned down.
The victim had sustained several gunshot wounds to his body and was declared dead at the scene in Queen Nandi Avenue.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.

Police have confirmed that the victim is a taxi owner and detectives are investigating a case of murder.
The deceased has been identified as Zwelabantu Joseph Nene.
