Update: Over 250,000 homes left without water in Ladysmith

The community should be receiving water tonight at around 8pm

According to uThukela, the electricity supply at the Ezakheni Plant has been restored.

The plant is now operating at full capacity and officials are currently building up storage internally at the plant.

It is anticipated that water will be pumped out of the plant at about 6pm. Thereafter, the community should be receiving water tonight (October 30) at around 8pm.
